Synthetic corks will not become tainted, will not dry out, crumble, break or leak. A great way to provide a barrier to oxidization for wines that will Aged for several years. When you use synthetic corks you can store your wine upright if you prefer because this cork will not dry out, which would normal cause your wine to oxidize or go Bad. Bag of 100 corks. Note: we recommend using the Gilda single Lever corker with these corks because while some Portuguese or Italian floor corkers may work without problems, there is also a chance that the cork will be scored as it is inserted into the bottle, causing leaks.
