NICOR Lighting Torsion V-Springs for Recessed Trims (2-Pack) (17202)

These torsion springs are perfect for installing recessed trims and LED Downlights into 5-inch and 6-inch recessed housings. The Torsion springs (also called Chicken Legs or V-Springs) are bent together and inserted into housing and clipped onto speaclized hooks within the inside of the housing to secure the LED downlight, while providing upwards pressure to keep the downlight or trim against the ceiling/housing. If your housing does not have a place to hook the springs onto, you can utilize universal mounting clips, which slip onto the edge of the housing and provide a mounting mechansim for installing trims and downlights with torsion springs.
