With real carbon fiber accents, a turbine-inspired pivot cap, and a payload in the form of a large D2 high carbon tool steel blade, the Norad is the fighter jet of the Kershaw lineup. The blade's broad belly is well served by a slight curve in the handle, easily transferring cutting power to the razor-sharp edge. The Norad opens with Kershaw’s KVT ball-bearing system and a flipper, but we reduced the size of the flipper when the knife is closed - and made it disappear altogether when the knife is open. What's left standing out is a raised custom backspacer that helps ensure a solid grip, no matter the task.

• Experience quick and easy manual opening with a pull on the flipper, assisted by a KVT ball bearing. Once open, the flipper is concealed between the handle scales.
