This very cool piece of history depicts The Capital Washington DC on one side and Mt Vernon "Home of Washington" on the other. Makers mark on the bottom reads " The National Remembrance Shop Washington D.C. Ridgeways England " and a number (? 6664) - the cup measures approximately 4" tall by 4 1/2" wide (including the handle) - the top rim is 2 1/2" in diameter and the bottom is 3" in diameter - Holds about 9 fluid ounces
The National Remembrance Shop was a souvenir shop that operated from the 19th century to about 1920
